Star award for Elpitha founders
In February our founders, Helen Elia and Pat Alexander, were thrilled to receive an In-Tune Star award for their work with the Elpitha group, presented at the Star Awards ceremony organised by South Essex Partnership Trust.  Their manager, Christeen Bartlett, who is the Health Visiting Professional Lead for West Essex, wrote that Elpitha is “a truly amazing piece of work both for women and their families within Harlow”.

Launch of the Elpitha website
We are thrilled to be launching the Elpitha Support Group website. For the first time this site enables us to share some of the information and tools which have helped so many mums at our original support group in Harlow, Essex. Here you can watch interviews with mums and group facilitators, explore helpful information on low mood and depression, find advice on simple self-help techniques, and download the Elpitha Handbook, which provides all the information needed to run a 6 week Elpitha Support Group.
